World War II

The 1944 invasion of Europe was the biggest amphibious operation ever undertaken in history. It required diligent preparation in advance of D-Day, and significant logistical support in the following months.The proffered weapons in World War II were MP40, Thompson gun, Dp-28, Kar98k etc. 
On September 1, 1939, Hitler invaded Poland from the west; two days later, France and Britain declared war on Germany, beginning World War II. It is also called the Second World War, a conflict that involved virtually every part of the globe during the years 1939 to 1945, celebrating the end of the Second World War on 8th May 1945. This day marks the end of World War II in Europe.The principal belligerents were the Axis powers—Germany, Italy, and Japan—and the Allies—France, Great Britain, the United States, the Soviet Union, and, to a lesser extent, China.
On 8 May 1945, the Allies accepted Germany’s surrender, about a week after Adolf Hitler had committed suicide. VE Day – Victory in Europe.
