In this part of the world, June and July are the months when we experience a lot of rainfall. It all starts from the nearby oceans, the Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal. The hot sun during this time evaporates the ocean water. The vapour rises very high. The hot vapours are then flown by the wind towards the Himalayas. It is very cold in the Himalayas so the vapour cools down forming rain clouds. Then the wind blows the rain clouds towards the hills and plains. As such heavy rainfall and thunderstorms are common during these months. Nature is so amazing and beautiful that the undrinkable seawater now becomes water that is useful for cultivation as well as drinking water for all the humans and animals. Water is so important for the life of all living beings. So, the beautiful Himalayas play a very important role in maintaining the ecosystem of South Asia. All the people in this region are responsible to preserve the natural resources and make life beautiful.
