Our Country Nepal

Nepal is a landlocked country. It lies in the southern part of Asia. The neighboring countries of Nepal are China and India. Nepal is a beautiful country with many villages and cities. The capital city of Nepal is Kathmandu. The world’s tallest mountain 'Mount Everest' lies in Nepal. It has a triangular unique flag. Our national animal is a cow, the national flower is Rhododendron and the national bird is Lophophorus. Nepal is the birthplace of Lord Buddha and it is also the second richest country in water resources. Rivers are the most important water resource in Nepal. The major rivers of Nepal are Mechi, Koshi, Bagamati,Narayani, Gandaki, Karnali and Mahakali. Nepal is known as the city of temples. There are around 492 temples in Nepal. There are so many historical and important places in Nepal. So we are proud of our country.
