Food We Eat

Food is the basic human need to stay alive. It gives energy to the body. The main sources of food are plants and animals. We should always eat healthy food and avoid junk food. Healthy food means food that contains the right amount of nutrients to keep our body fit and healthy. It is also very delicious. Healthy food impacts our physical and mental health. When we eat healthy fruits and vegetables full of nutrients, it reduces the chances of disease and helps us maintain strength.                                        
 Healthy foods are divided into three types, such as Body-building food, Energy-giving food, and Protective food. Body-building food contains protein, such as meat, eggs, pulses, etc. Energy-giving food is food that contains carbohydrates and fat, such as potato, rice, butter, and cheese, etc. Protective food contains vitamins and minerals, such as fruits and green vegetables. If we eat the diet with the correct amount of such nutrients that is called a balanced diet. We also should eat fresh homemade food.
 All junk food is unhealthy food. It leads to a lack of concentration and can cause digestive problems. On the other hand, healthy food leads to a healthy life and longevity.
