As we all know In Nepal we have passed 1st lockdown and 2nd is going on. We could pass the lockdown because we had many features because of the internet. What if the internet was not invented until 2021?
In this lockdown, we can’t go out so we can’t play with friends, visit new places, etc. Now we have the internet through which we can play games, study, watch videos, communicate with others, etc. If the internet was not invented how would our life pass? There’s nothing to do at home except to watch television, as a person cannot see television all time. We would have had a hard time spending time. Because of the Internet, many earn by sitting at home by using different apps and jobs online. The Internet helped us survive the first lockdown and is helping us to pass the days of the second lockdown.
I would like to share a day without the internet of mine. There was some issue on my internet. There was no internet for the whole day. I woke up at 8 O’clock as it was Saturday. After waking I was just watching television for about an hour. After that, I finished all my homework in 2 hours. I was thinking about what to do. I tried to sleep but I couldn’t. I was mad about what I could do, so I was just studying but after 1 hour I felt bored. It was a very hard time for me.I couldn’t survive without the internet for a day. I can't imagine a whole lockdown without the internet.
If the internet had not been invented then we could do many things. Communicate with others using voice call but it would be a big-budget we talk as we talk usually. We could play with our siblings at home only but it would be very boring playing with siblings every time. We could watch television but as I said, watching TV the time is also not a good idea. We can do many things without the internet but it cannot help us a lot to pass our lockdown. So we can spend time without the internet but in my point of view, it's really hard to pass time without the internet. I also wonder the one who doesn't have an internet connection, how do they spend time?
