Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is a multiplayer first person shooter developed by Valve and Hidden Path Entertainment. In 2012, CSGO was released for PC (Steam), XBOX 360, macOS, PS3 and in 2014 for Linux, but in 2021 they stopped the game updates for XBOX 360 and PS3. 

The game has two teams. Counter-Terrorist and Terrorist which play against each other. Or in the hostage mode the CT team tries to rescue the hostages captured by the Terrorist force. The Terrorist plants the bomb and the CT team tries to defuse it. The game has 9 different game modes:- Competitive, Casual, Deathmatch, Arms Race, Demolition, Wingman, Flying Scoutsman, and Danger Zone. Workshop maps are enabled in this game. Danger Zone is a battle royal gamemode for CSGO. CSGO is the 4th game of the Counter-Strike series. In 2018, Valve announced the game as free-to-play. From then the player base was increasing rapidly. It was estimated that 11 million players per month played the game. The game started receiving positive reviews. Now this game is on the esports scene too. Player’s from different countries and teams compete for the world championship. There are 18 ranks in the competitive side of the game. In which silver 1 is the lowest and global elite is the highest rank in the game. Similarly there are 40 ranks for the casual side of the game in which private rank 1 is the lowest and Sergeant Magor is the highest. They had risen upto 1 billion dollars from the leagues and championship.
