My Country Nepal

Nepal is a small country in Asia located between India and China. Nepal has so many villages and some cities. Its capital city is Kathmandu. Nepal is a beautiful country. It is a country of Mount Everest and the birthplace of Gautam Buddha. The national flag of Nepal is very unique and it has the sun and moon on it. The national animal of Nepal is a cow, the national flower is Rhododendron & the national bird is Lophophorus.

 Nepal is divided into three regions: Mountains, Hilly and Terai. Similarly, Nepal is also a rich country for water resources. The rivers like Gandaki, Koshi, Karnali and the lakes like Phewa, Rara, Begnas are the major water resources of Nepal. 

The people who live in Nepal are from different castes and religions which follow different traditions and cultural values.  The various castes of Nepali people are- Brahmin, Chhetri, Gurung, Sherpa, Newar, Tharu etc. Nepali celebrate festivals like Dashain, Tihar, Teej, Chhat, Holi Janai  Purnima, Buddha Jayanti etc. They enjoy a variety of delicious food like dal-bhaat, tarkari, achar, roti, momo etc.

Nepal is one of the best tourist destinations in the world. There are so many temples, stupas and historical places that people can explore in  Nepal. Finally, this is my country Nepal and I am so proud to be a Nepali. I love my country Nepal. THANK YOU
