Today, we the students of Grade 10 went to the Central Zoo, located at Jawalakhel for a field visit. Everything went on as planned. I woke up early in the morning, packed my bags, had my breakfast and got ready for school. I reached school at 8:30 AM sharp. After almost an hour we left for Jawalakhel in our school van. We reached there at 10:30 AM. Our EPH teacher, Mr. Kuldeep Gupta bought tickets for us and then we clicked a group picture in the entrance gate. After we entered inside, we first saw a crocodile. Our teacher told us to take photos and note down the details given over there. Heading on our way, we saw different animals of different species and mocked at each other. After 45 minutes, we took a break and ate our lunch. By 12:00 PM we finished our lunch and watching animals so we planned to go for boating. It was at our own risk. However, taking the risks into consideration we decided to take two boats: 6 members in each.

It was a well-taken decision as boating became the most memorable part of the visit. After finishing boating, we headed back to our school by our school van at 1:15 PM. There were lovely songs being played in the van which added more fun to the trip. Around 2 PM we reached our school. We were very tired so we took rest for a couple of minutes in our classroom. There were still two periods left for our classes to get over. We were so tired that we wanted to spend the classes without studying. Luckily, through our teacher, Mr. Tej, we found out that we didn’t have to study. We were called out to join the video shoot that was being shot for our Dashain and Tihar greetings. At 4:15 PM we all returned home.

I had been there numerous times but probably because I was with my friends, this visit to the zoo will remain as the most memorable zoo visit.
