Youtube is an online video sharing site created in 2005 by three former PayPal employees (Chad Hurley, Steve Chen, and Jawed Karim). But in a year it was a lot popular so google bought it for $1 billion. But the owners are still the same. Youtube has the feature of subscribing, rate(like and dislike) comment, upload, share and report which are free. The premium part of youtube is support and youtube premium.

On YouTube, individual content creators and companies produce videos. The biggest individual content creator is pewdiepie. And the biggest company creator is t-series. Many content creators earn through youtube. Youtube does not give them money, they get the money from ads, membership, and sponsors. The major problems in youtube are strikes (copyright strike, coppa strike) and controversies. There are some small problems on youtube. Some countries are banned from using youtube like china. And some countries like Nepal do not have premium access to youtube. There are 2 billion monthly viewers on youtube. Youtube gives content creators a play button as they reach goals in youtube like a silver play button for 100k subscribers. Until now for 100 million subscribers there is a Red Diamond Creator Award! This play button is sent to T Series and PewDiePie in celebration of 100 million subscribers.
