An honest person is trustworthy as he always tends to speak the truth. A major component for developing moral character is being truthful. Truth helps in developing many good qualities like kindness, discipline, honesty, etc. Lying, cheating, lack of trust, stealing, greed, and others are not part of being truthful.

Truthful people are sincere, trustworthy, and loyal throughout their life.  Truthfulness is valuable and it is a habit of great importance. Honesty is the first chapter in all the books.
