Procrastination And Its Negative Effects On Students

Procrastination means delaying or postponing a task. It originated from the Latin language. It is done every day by most people knowingly or unknowingly. This mostly happens with students. Researchers say that this happens mostly due to stress and carelessness. It seems normal to procrastinate in health conditions until you suffer or have some complications. But this can cause health issues like stress and anxiety. Procrastination in school life is known as “Student syndrome”. 

Postponing a task might also give students low grades. If the habit of procrastination does not end, students might get in trouble. According to research, procrastination causes stress in students. It can create workload in students. Procrastination can make students tired because of the excessive workload. Students who do not fully complete assignments and put off crucial.
