Hello Everyone!
I am writing about Dashain.
Dashain is the greatest festival of Nepal.
In Dashain, we get long holidays from school.
We celebrate Dashain by doing different interesting activities.
We play a traditional bamboo swing called lingey ping.
We wear new clothes.
We put tika and jamara from our elders.
We also get money as dakshina and blessings from our elders.
We also fly kites in Dashain time.
We eat delicious food in Dashain.
We visited our relatives’ home to put tika.
I like Dashain festival very much.
Last Dashain, I went to the Goddess temples with my parents.
This year, the first day of Dashain which is Ghatasthapana started on the first day of Kartik.
Vijaya Dashami, the main day of Dashain was on Kartik 10.
A very happy Vijaya Dashami to everyone.
