On 21st October Friday, Social Service Club organized Blood Donation Campaign on the DWIT premises, in collaboration with the Lions & Leo Club of Kathmandu Chabahil city and with technical support from Grande Hospital.

There was an overwhelming response from the students, faculties, and members of the Deerwalk.  The event started at 1 pm. All the arrangements were made by the volunteers and club members. The willing donors who attended to donate their blood had to fill out a form with general information first, and then doctors examined their blood pressure and physical condition. Only then were they permitted to donate blood. The donors were provided with healthy snacks right after the donation. Furthermore, a certificate of appreciation was given to each donor as a token of gratitude.
