Twilight and the lake,
Older than all the remains,
Of worlds far away.
An old silent lake,
In the mists so far away,
To places beyond the world.
In the twilight rain,
All of the stars bright awake,
In the summer rain.
The old near-full moon,
When mirth of joys full awake,
The first breath of spring.
The smell of forest streams.
With the songs of Nightingale,
With trees of jade green.
Twilight and the lake,
Older than all the remains,
Of worlds far away.
