Anxiety - The Most Common Problem of The Modern World

As our world is progressing and growing, the problems are also growing. Mental diseases are equally haunting humans alongside physical diseases. Many people are facing mental problems like depression, anxiety, trauma etc. These issues are slowly claiming worldwide attention. Mental diseases are equally painful to others. They can burn your brain alive due to overthinking and stop your heart due to sadness or peer pressure. Suicides are also increasing day by day due to these problems. Statistics say that almost 30% of the world population has mental illnesses. This makes us realize how bad mental illness is. 

 

Among the many mental illnesses, anxiety is one of the most common and harmful ones. Now, there are several types and stages of anxiety. Some small anxieties we also face are - time before an exam, failing a test, before performing before a mass, before or during a speech etc. This type of anxiety hits us for an hour or two creating nervousness and just disappears later. These doest affect us greatly. They just give us nervousness and a feeling of chill in our nerves. They are called regular anxiety. But, on the other hand, severe anxiety or Anxiety Disorder can go severe and give us a bad time. This type of Anxiety usually lasts for many periods of time. They are probably caused by stressful events, family background, or health issues and brain issues. These types of anxiety cause severe symptoms like Severe body pain, heavy heart, high sensitivity, growth of worries and tension in everything, restlessness. These people can faint anytime as their subconscious mind is scanning everything in the environment. Once they get in a situation they feel worried or they hate, their subconscious mind lets them faint. This is a pretty common problem nowadays to teens. Many schools are facing these situations. To cure anxiety, we need extreme willpower and dedication. We need to have a healthy diet and exercise regularly. We need to have a strong mindset and try to move on from anything we are facing. We should visit a doctor regularly and try therapies to cure it. We should also contribute to known people facing anxiety by consulting them and showing help and sympathy. We ourselves should protect our mind from getting infected. We should follow the measures of not getting touched by anxiety. 

 

Hence, anxiety could be way more harmful than we have ever thought and it is expected to be progressive year after year. It could be a really serious situation if we don't take action now and carelessly ignore mental health. The World will be 10 times better if everyone has a healthy mindset and mental health. So, we should start making this world better by starting from ourselves. I want to conclude by saying that Mental health is as important as physical health.
