First day in Grade Five, feeling so fine,
New class, new year, feeling so divine.
Amongst classmates buzzing like bees,
I'm the only bee among the trees.
Colors bright, all around,
Birds chirping, a joyful sound.
In a class with friends so good,
Feeling happy, just as I should.
First day in Grade Five,
Feeling alive! So fine,
Happy that the day’s divine.
Excited for school, my eyes do shine.
