At 10 o'clock, a peaceful silence descends.
I feel calmer than I have all day,
Everyone is still, it's time
To enjoy a moment of tranquility and calm,
Suddenly, dogs bark and clocks tick
But I love all these sounds just the same.
After a busy day, it's finally time
For you and me to unwind and relax.
I wish this moment could last forever,
And pray for its serenity to remain unbroken.
The moon shines, bright and comforting,
Its gentle light being an ointment for a weary soul,
Gives a tight embrace for all your struggles,
And offers a warm and gentle smile
As it wishes you goodnight, dear.
