Through dark alleys,
No sky, no roof above.
Where are the stars,
Where did they move?
What is this place? The curiosity grows.
As I go past this alley, a torch is on my side.
The light disappears, the battery dies.
The uneven roads, the unclear path.
Where am I headed, the question lingers in my head.
The mist surrounds me it's blinds my eye.
The darkness is unclear.
Is this a lie?
Tight spaces barely move.
The barking of dogs in the middle of noon.
Who built the walls surrounding this place.
Full of dust that fills these days.
The destination is uncertain.
The journey is unclear
What is this pathway?
Why do I fear?
The echoes above my head
The past lingering behind me,
But the darkness awaits me
The path I can’t see.
Is this where I am meant to be?
The path with a door but no key.
If not, where am I supposed to be?
