My School had organised a hiking trip last month. We started our journey from our school at around 10:30 after having our lunch. We had carried some light snacks for the trip and also a pack of a good heavy meal to have once we would get back after the trip. It was quite a long journey by bus. It took us more than one hour to reach Jhor checkpoint from where our journey started. We were all really excited. We saw some hikers and also some army people. The forest was quite dense but the road was easy to walk. We walked for about an hour. I really enjoyed the view. We reached Surya Chaur, which was our destination for the day.There, we shared our snacks with each other, sang songs, played games, clicked photographs and enjoyed the view. We then started walking back again. I felt like getting down to the checkpoint was faster and easier than getting up to SuryaChaur. We got back to school collecting different memories with us.
