It was like any other day
When I was walking by the bay,
But today, the was not blue
It was black without a clue.
My feelings were like the weather in may
Like the droplets of rain that spray,
Everywhere in the ground and river
It flows to no end forever.
When I looked at you
Heard you stomp your shoe,
I thought it was joke
Only it was never a joke.
Only when you were out the door
Realization hit like the waves on shore,
I ran out hoping for you
But the dull sea gave no clue.
I ran till water reached my neck
All my memories of you started to break,
You were like the cold breeze
My heart has started to freeze.
