I spot a plant in a pot,
Whenever I take the shortcut,
I wonder what the plant feels,
But imagine its silent appeals,
People pass by, not giving a thought,
Neglecting to give water, you see,
I am just a plant in a pot,
Doesn't mean I am short,
Stand without a word, I may big or small,
I listen but not talk whenever people call.
Listen to their voices,
“Plant in a pot”, they call
