Wounds heal leaving scars
bloody bandage collecting in jars
to keep the memories that hunts
how I was the injured warrior once
I kept coming back to the field
with my patience as my shield
wished they would love me
let me escape or set me free
what doesn't kill you
makes you stronger, they say
but what if I wanted to be killed
cause the strength didn't make them stay
All I want now is peace
doesn't matter if it'll leave me in pieces
since I chose to fight
Hopefully, I'll make it to heaven bright.
