Ridi, also known as Ridi bazaar, is located in Gulmi district of Lumbini province. It lies on the confluence of Ridi Khola and Kali- Gandaki river. It has very high significance among Hindus. Ridi is famous for fossils that are found in numerous places along Kali Gandaki river. It also has a Y- shaped bridge which is the first and only of its kind in Nepal. It joins three districts of Gulmi, Palpa and Syangja.

Ridi is my village town where my family roots began. I like to visit Ridi during Magh when a grand mela is held for 3 to 5 days.
