A glass box separates me
From the world.
I can see its beauty,
But I can't touch the world nor feel it.
I watch everyone stare at me.
I am skeptical about what they know.
I swim around in circles
To pass my time alone.
I dream of openness,
Of swimming in the ocean,
Feeling the waves over me,
And the sunlight on my skin.
One day, I hope for freedom,
To swim away from everything,
To explore the sea and the ocean,
And find my place in this world.
