Trust is the invisible rope connecting or binding us with other people. People who trust each other often learn to get comfortable with anyone. This can be extremely beneficial for our social life. When we learn to trust each other. We learn to socialise with others this will help us in the long run. If we don’t learn to socialise with others it will cause isolation. This can lead to various other problems in life.

Trusting someone is a risky move. It can be a good or bad decision. Trust is something that can easily be broken. No rule states that you can break someone's trust. The decision is all yours to break or keep. Trusting someone can be beneficial or harmful. Some people trust others very easily but some people don't trust others. Trusting someone is like sharing your personal space or beliefs. Trust is building connections with others. With this connection will be honest and can rely on others. Trust establishes a mutual connection and it can add depth to your relationships with others.

There are various positive effects that trust brings to us. They are:

Strengthening bonds

Having a very good bond with multiple people can be very beneficial to us. Whenever we have a very strong bond with someone we can open our feelings to them. Strengthening our bond can also make other people support us. We can also rely on others as well. Not only this but strengthening our bonds can help us to improve ourselves by taking suggestions and giving suggestions.

Effective communication

As we will be trusting an individual. It will be easier for us to open up our emotions, thoughts, ideas and opinions without any fear of judgment. Without this constant fear, you will be free to express yourself. Lack of communication is the cause of depression and sadness. So, this can help the individual with their mental health.

Stress reduction

Many people might be suffering from depression or stress. This can be caused due to the lack of communication and socialization of an individual. When you talk about your problems openly to someone you might be a bit relieved from the pain. When you know that someone is reliable you can talk to them about your security concerns or anything you want. This will create a bond between you and another individual and that bond is very strong and that will help you in various aspects.

Support

Being supportive is one thing. But being supported is another. People might be supportive towards others but sometimes they do not think about themselves. When you have trust for someone they will openly support you. And due to this support, you can rely on them for any sort of help. In a truly supportive and trustworthy environment, the bond is strong and no one will try to take advantage of each other. Both individuals will be supportive of each other.

There are various ways of building trust among people like accountability, honesty, reliability, empathy and more. Taking accountability for your mistakes is very important. When we are accountable we are seen as a respectful individual. When we are more responsible we are seen as hard-working and dedicated individuals this can help make a good image of us in society. Honesty is also another key factor. When we are honest and respectful we are seen as very trustworthy and good-hearted people. We should not lie, we should take responsibility, we should be dedicated etc. to be considered as honest in the eyes of an individual or society. To be trustworthy we also need reliability. Whenever other people feel like we are reliable this will create an image that we are very hardworking, that we are honest and we are not dependent on others. You also need to understand other people. You are in your world. Without everyone all alone will not take you very far. That world will end very quickly.

The things mentioned above are a way of building trust. Now, trust has lots of downsides. If you trust the wrong individual you will be betrayed. There will be broken promises and conflict. When someone breaks your trust they will betray you. They will tell you your secrets. They will lose their commitment to you. They will be your immortal enemy. The hatred between you and the other individual will grow more and more and this will change into a conflict.
