As you go through the journey of growing up, taking care of your body becomes even more important. You will experience all sorts of changes during this time, like getting hair on your chest, armpits, face, and private parts. These changes are all part of what we call puberty or the teen years, which are the times when you are 13 or older.
For girls, puberty often brings on menstruation, which means getting your period every month. If there are any delays in getting your period, it is best to talk to a doctor right away, as there could be various reasons for it, like pregnancy, low body weight, or stress.
When it comes to menstruation, girls should take extra care of their personal hygiene. Make sure to clean your private parts daily to avoid any discomfort or infections. Staying clean and healthy is super important during this time.
But it is not just about menstruation. Both guys and girls should embrace healthy habits as part of their routine. That means eating a balanced diet, staying active, getting enough sleep, and maintaining good personal hygiene. Regular exercise and eating right will help you grow and develop properly while also keeping you feeling great overall.
So, as you continue to grow up, do not forget to listen to your body and take care of it. Making healthy choices now will lead to a happier and healthier life down the road.
