Sinking in the sky
Drowning in the sea
Can you see?
Can you feel it?
Amidst the darkness,
A glimmer of light
I know,
Amidst the chaos,
A chance to fight.
Every flicker of light
Requires a battle to ignite
Nothing comes for free
In a world of dues and fees.
For every mistake,
A price we must pay
No room for turning back,
No room for delay.
I am as free as a ray of light,
But shadows loom ahead,
I must fight,
With every breath I'm led.
Fighting is the will,
Fighting is the skill,
It makes me realise
The value of every bit of life.
