Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year, also known as the Spring festival of Lunar New Year, is the grandest festival of China. China's government gives one day holiday in the Spring festival. This year according to the English calendar Spring festival is celebrated on January 25, 2020. It is the year of the rat according to the Chinese zodiac which features a 12-year cycle with each year represented by a specific animal. 

During the spring festival, the Chinese people eat food like Dumpling, Fish, Glutinous, Rice ball. In this festival, people hang lanterns at their doors. People hang it for peace in their life. People come from different countries to watch their glorious tradition and their costumes. Spring festival is known in the whole world because the streets are very colorful.
