Hi, I am a backpack. I am a yellow backpack with white flowers printed on me; my owner is a 14-year-old girl named Nala. She has short hair and is very tall. She is also a brilliant student. She is the youngest among her two elder sisters. Her eldest sister, Sicily, gifted it to me on her 12th birthday.
I still remember that day; she was smaller than she is now and had long hair. She looked very happy when she saw me and thanked Sicily for gifting me. Since that day, Nala has been using me; she uses me for school. She takes me with her every single day and keeps her very heavy books on me. Sometimes it is very uncomfortable when she stuffs me up with all kinds of things, but every day is a new day for me. I see all kinds of things every day, and it is very thrilling. When she enters her school, she takes me to her classroom, keeps me near her desk, and goes with her friends. I do have the other backpackers to talk with, but it is always the same; there is never anything new to talk about. When she talks with her classmates, I get very interested as I get to learn new things. Normally, that is how my day goes. After school, we go home together, and she throws me in her bed and takes all kinds of stuff from me to do her assignments. It feels really good to be light with nothing inside me.
I have had very fun times with Nala since I met her, and I will cherish those moments forever. Now she is replacing me with another bag because I am getting older, but I still hope she uses me sometimes and we get to make new fun memories together.
