On August 27th, we had Parents Talk in the seventh period by Mr. Drona Pokharel on the topic 'Insurance’. I got to know about the types of insurance: life insurance and non-life insurance. Life insurance does not have a long history in Nepal. The world was introduced to insurance from Babylon. Life insurance is for the people. Accidental death insurance is included in it. He also shared a short story related to insurance.
Non-life insurance includes vehicles, houses, and other non-living properties of a person. He advised us to do life insurance as well. If we have our insurance done then we will get the money for our treatment if we have any accidents or we get injured whereas the non-life insurance helps us to repair our properties if they get damaged.
