The Shining Star

There was a shining star way up in the sky,
Many light years away from our naked eye.
It was a shining red giant, with all the glory & might,
Where the gods lived, away from mortal's sight.
Quietly, they looked down on the realm for crimes and unfairness,
Mercy they would bestow upon the wise, their life would then be painless.
One unfortunate night, the star collapsed, leaving everyone in despair.
Uncertainty led to it and there was chaos everywhere.
But I believe that destruction is the path to creation, so I had no fear.
Every matter dead or alive has to perish, this is the norm
Sometimes I wonder what it is that exists beyond the unknown.
We are scared of the end, yet to accept the harsh reality of life.
We fight to persevere, unknown to nature's might
Accept it because, beyond that, it is unknown.
What is born will perish.
That is the only known,
Live your life today while accepting fate yet respecting the norm.
Then you can only evolve into your true form, like humans.
So, what do you think about the story of destruction and creation?
