With all our memories
Flooding inside my head,
How am I supposed to let go of you?
With a part of me
Still craving your presence,
How am I supposed to let go of us?
Afraid the memories will fade away
I spend days looking to heaven
With a hope
That you would come back
And wrap me in your arms
And tell me everything it’s okay.
Without even saying goodbye,
You left every one of us behind
With tears in our eyes
And agony in our hearts.
I know its better
If I let go of you.
But still
When i try to
All our memories
Flood back to my head
Like the waves hitting the shores.
