Deerwalk Poetry Night was held on July 19 at Sagarmatha Hall. Participants were gone all day for their practice sessions. We were also taken to observe Poetry Night after 4 pm. We got there right on time as it did not take too long for the program to start. One after another participant showed up with their poem. Look, don’t get me wrong, every poem was a masterpiece but one poem really got me which does not happen often. I’m glad that I stayed until the end because it was quite a roller-coaster ride. There were moments where I felt like I dropped.
All in all, I cannot say that I did not enjoy the program because I really did. The parents also seemed to be happy after the event so it was a successful event.
