Dog training in Nepal was started by sending some police officers to Malaysia in 2026 BS. It is located in Maharajgunj. It is a dog training center. The idea of the trip was to make us understand how police dogs are trained and what they are actually able to do. There are many types of dog training like dog basic training, tracker dog training, search dog training, drug identification training. The use of dogs is in crimes like murder, searching for thieves by sniffing the evidence and footprint left by the thief. These kinds used in such tasks are known as tracker dogs. Dogs are instructed to sniff around different passages and stations. The dogs are used in the international airport to protect VIP people and to search for bombs and to control illegal goods.   There were eight types of dogs and they showed us the way they sniff and find the criminal. We were there for 1 hour 30 minutes and it was fun to be there. We have learned many things and I hope our school will take us again.
