When we first entered the Jyapu Museum we saw statues of goddesses. There were three goddesses. We also saw so many models of people wearing different dresses. We also saw big statues of the family who were doing puja in the Newari style. There was also a baby model with many food items in front of it. It showed us how Newar people did Nwaran. We also saw an oval shape made up of rice. On top of the rice, there were lots of fruits and one fish. There were many varieties of seeds that were planted by farmers. We also saw the Newari clothes for a boy and a girl. There were also many folk musical instruments played by Newars. We also saw some utensils used by ancestors for storing water, cooking rice, etc. There was also a box where old period clothes were placed. Almost everything around the museum showed Newari culture and tradition.
