Hello Everyone! I am writing about Shrawan Sankranti. Shrawan is the name of Nepali month. It's the month of the rainy season. Sankranti means the first day of the month. In a Nepali year, we celebrate twelve Sankranti. Shrawan Sankranti is a festival of our society. On this day, we eat special food like rice pudding. On this day, we go to Shiva temple. Many people say this is God Shiva’s month. In this month, Nepali women of our society wear green saree, green bangles and green nail polish too.
