The students of Grade 10 were taken to Nepal Police Canine Division which is located at Maharajgunj. We were taken by the school bus. The journey was of half an hour. We were accompanied by Mr. Ram Chandra Satyal. He described to us about dog breeds and the way they trained the dogs.

The canine was established in 2023 B.S.There are 8 breeds of dogs in Nepal Police Canine Division. The dogs work on 4 different fields such as: crime investigation, narcotics, mureder, rescue. The dogs also showed us a demo of how they worked. The dogs have their own uniform while doing their job. The dogs were very energetic and bold. The dogs find the criminals by sniffing. Among 300 breeds of dogs, only 20 dog breeds are used by police agencies.

Overall, the trip was very knowledgeable and interesting.
