“I had been suffering from OCD”. Well, OCD is a disorder in which people have unwanted thoughts and the thoughts which people get are not controllable. My life was good until my parents and I found out I have OCD. I couldn’t stand a single dirt or mess near me. Whether it's in public or at home, I would run and go to the nearest place where there are cleaning supplies and I would go clean it. It was so embarrassing, but soon it became my habit.
Oh, hello there my name is Evelyn and I have been diagnosed with a disorder OCD. My life has been great until my dad left me and my mom alone since I had OCD. My mom works in a café, and sometimes I would go help her too. But, sometimes there was a big mess in the café as well which I could not stop cleaning.

There were many girls and boys in my school and I didn’t want to let them know about my OCD. But, it was really hard to control it. There was a new student named Luke who was really, really messy, and he just annoyed me. One day he spilled a bottle of ink on the board and since I could not hold up my OCD I started to clean it. Everyone was laughing and teasing me and Luke was enjoying it. Then, he came in the middle of the crowd and said “ Oh my gosh, Evelyn, are you the Janitor of the school”. That was the first time I had ever shouted at someone with rage. Other days I got a delivery of bubble tea in the back of the school. After I got to the place I saw Luke drawing on the wall, I couldn’t hold back my OCD and attacked Luke. Suddenly, I revealed my OCD. He looked shocked and said, “Oh now I know why you act like a Janitor of the school”. Oh my gosh, I literally hated him. One day we were teamed up in science class. He freaking was like the adopted son of Einstein and Edison. I then took the help of Luke every day to study. Soon, we became best friends.

After Luke had realized how close and similar, we have been together for the past months, he apologized to me. And I also realized how good a person he was. Luke one day told me to reveal my OCD. With a talk between my closest friend and my mother, I decided to reveal my OCD in my school. I thought that they were going to tease me and make it harder, but they helped me instead, and suddenly it was easier around. I was so thankful to Luke.
Years have passed and we both have graduated successfully from university. Luke has married a kind-hearted woman and is a teacher and I am a writer and this is my story.
