Nepal is surrounded by two countries. China lies in the North and the Eastern, the western and southern part of Nepal is covered by India. It lies in the Northern hemisphere. Nepal is rich in natural beauty and resources. It has long and wide rivers like Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali. We also have large lakes like Rupa, Begnas, and Rara. Likewise, we have green valleys and lovely waterfalls. It is also rich in religious and historical heritage.

Nepal is a country of highly diverse and rich geography, culture and religious values. The mountainous north has eight of the ten highest mountains in the world, including the highest, Sagarmatha. The fertile and humid South is heavily urbanized. It contains over 240 peaks more than 2000 ft. above sea level.

Nepal is small but rich in natural resources, although it is poor by economic condition. Nepal is a developing country and due to the natural resources, tourists love to visit our country. They are able to see endangered birds and animals here  and they can also indulge in the natural beauty.

Nepal is a paradise. The only defect is that it has no sea access; it is a landlocked country but it has more than 6000 rivers and rivulets. What doesn’t Nepal have? It is one of the richest countries in the world in biodiversity, in hydropower/water resources; inland structure and the friendly nature of people; their customs and culture.

Nepal has a lot of things to do and to see. Boating, rafting, mountaineering, paragliding, jumping, and trekking are common things to do and see.

Although a great number of people are under the poverty line and uneducated; they are conscious enough to preserve their culture and customs. They are politically aware too.

Nepal’s present need is educational and economic development.

Although, Nepal is such a dreamland where people live happily. It is the visitors ‘ PARADISE’, where nature is always alive.

It is such a place in the world where its single touch refreshes everyone.

On the whole, “ Nepal is small but resembles the world.”
