UY Scuti is the largest known star in the Universe in 2021. The UY Scuti was found in 1860 A.D by the German astronomers of the Bonn Observatory. It is said to be 1700 times larger than the sun. It is also said to be that UY Scuti is 5217 light-years away from the earth. The only thing that comes close to the UY Scuti is WOH G64 it is the second-largest star in the universe. It is 163,000 light-years away from the earth. The WOH G64 is the farthest and largest star and remember 1 light year is 9.46 trillion kilometers or in meters, the exact answer is 9,460,730,472,580,800m. The UY Scuti’s surface is 3365K hot and its core is 100,000,000K hot. It is also unknown about the information if the UY Scuti has any orbits, planets, and stars around it. The UY Scuti is a very hot star. The UY Scuti was discovered in 1860 A.D but till now there has not been any discovery of any larger star in the universe. It is unexpectable to hear this that there is no discovery till now of any star bigger in size than the UY Scuti human has discovered many things in the earth and some in space but they couldn’t find any star larger in size than the UY Scuti but human should be able to find a star bigger than UY Scuti. And I hope very soon we will get to learn more facts about the stars and planets.
