The Universe is everything we can touch, feel, sense, measure or detect. It includes living things, planets, stars, galaxies, dust clouds, light, and even time. Before the birth of the Universe, time, space and matter did not exist.

The universe contains billions of stars and galaxies. The universe is very very very huge. It is really hard to find how large and huge the universe is. It may take a lot of years to measure the universe. Now let's know how old the universe is. may only be a number, but when it comes to the age of the universe, it's pretty weird . According to research of scientists, the universe is approximately 13.8 billion years old. How did the scientist find it then? So there's 2 methods to find out how old the universe is.  by studying the oldest objects within the universe and measuring how fast it is expanding. This is something related to BIG BANG THEORY.  So may you have learned it at social lessons. Let me explain a bit about this explosion. It is the story of the planets, Earth. Millions and Millions years ago, there had been an explosion with the sun and at that time there were not any planets. And when this explosion happened with the sun this explosion was called the big bang theory and the sun was separated in several pieces and those became the planets and others became the star and slowly slowly all the planets were made. The universe cannot be younger than the objects contained inside of it. By determining the ages of the oldest stars, scientists are able to put a limit on the age. These are the 2 methods.
