In addition to basic courses required as per Nepal Government’s regulation, at Deerwalk Sifal School, we require our students to take the following extra courses:
Learning languages always helps the students to get different insight into other's cultures. We believe everyone should be eager to explore new cultures and learn them. Studies have shown that the perfect age to pick up a new language is when one is in Grade 1 to Grade 10. We teach Sanskrit from Grade 1 to Grade 7 and Chinese Language from Grade 4 to Grade 7.
Writing is one of the most difficult arts to master. In almost all the professions today, one needs to articulate ideas. The means to do so is via writing. Hence, we would encourage students to be very fluent and comfortable in writing in English. To enhance writing skill and to help in articulation of ideas, we enroll two reading books in each month, one English and one Nepali.
Computers and applications running on them are just about everywhere. The mobile phones that we once used to carry to make phone calls have grown much more than calling devices. Students all over the world are now encouraged to take up computer science, and we believe Nepal too should not be left behind. We teach computer science from Grade 1 to Grade 10.
